Transport for NSW Workshops
Client: Transport NSW

We planned and facilitated a series of complex networks for Transport for NSW. These workshops including Road Network Planning workshops with varying stakeholders, along with start-up construction workshops in for major highway upgrades. The project involved sensitivity to the unique roles and needs of various stakeholders and devising mitigation strategies in times of conflict.

Figtree Park Citizen’s Panel
Client: Hunter’s Hill Council

We designed, developed and facilitated a Citizen’s Panel for Hunters Hill Council’s Figtree Park upgrade. The project involved complex stakeholder analysis and identification to connect with a representative sample of the Hunters Hill Community. 

Stormwater Infrastructure Deliberative Engagement
Client: Gwydir Shire Council

We undertook a two-stage deliberative engagement program for Gwydir’s stormwater infrastructure and related issues.  We designed and assisted with the initial engagement phase which provided information about existing infrastructure and sought feedback and facilitated the second phase of detailed deliberative engagement between the community and council.

Westleigh Park Master Plan
Client: Hornsby Shire Council

We mediated and facilitated communication between two key stakeholder groups in the engagement process to inform the development of the Westleigh Park Master Plan. The engagement program consisted three stakeholder workshops, two webinars and two co-design to facilitate communication between these stakeholder groups. The program assisted the community in reaching a consensus regarding the action taken in the final Westleigh Park Master Plan. 

Horsley Drive Business Park
Client: Charter Hall

We used our expertise to develop a Community and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy to support Charter Hall’s State Significant Development Application for Horsley Drive Business Park in Wetherill Park. We delivered comprehensive stakeholder management that achieved best practice while at the same time meeting legislative requirements.

Chatswood Development Proposal
Client: MIRVAC, Northern Star & Australia Post

We completed a comprehensive business engagement process to harness support from key stakeholders for MIRVAC & Northern Start’s $300m development proposal. Key stakeholders were engaged via multiple face-to-face and online channels to communicate the key benefits of the development, in turn generating significant stakeholder support.

Thirroul Aged Care Facility Redevelopment
Client: Icon Project Management

Developed and implemented a detailed Community and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy for the redevelopment of an aged care facility. This involved organising and facilitating a community workshop to provide clear information about the project benefits, discuss potential impacts and develop meaningful relationships with key stakeholders.

DC Feeders Power Supply Upgrade
Client: Next Rail

This project involved informing and engaging with the community and stakeholders impacted by a power supply upgrade across the Sydney Trains Network. Activities involved preparing communications plans, liaising with Transport for NSW, local councils, and direct interaction with residents and stakeholders.

Byron Shire Community Strategic Plan

Client: Byron Shire Council

Project managed the development of a new Community Strategic Plan through a variety of engagement tools and in collaboration with Council and other partners. This involved preparing branding and strategic communications materials for an engagement program which spanned over six months.

Love’n Deuce Tender Submission
Client: Love’n Deuce 

Developed an innovative Community and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy to aid the tender submission of a long-standing tennis center in the Willoughby LGA. Activities included interactive pop-up engagements, a Community Day event and the development of creative feedback tools. Detailed feedback received provided integral support for a successful tender submission.

Picton High School Redevelopment
Client: School Infrastructure NSW  

Responsible for the development and implementation of a Community Engagement and Communications Plan to span 3 years on this $100M infrastructure project. Role involves delivering face to face engagement activities, preparation of materials for the community, media and the Department of Education and issues management.

Kemps Creek Logistics Park
Client: ESR

Project managed the communications and engagement activities to support the submission of a State Significant Development Application (SSDA). The project involved developing communications materials and engagement strategy to support a new logistics park and industrial area as part of the Mamre Road Industrial Precinct.

Princes Highway Construction Start-up Workshop
Client: Transport for NSW

Planned and facilitated a start-up construction workshop in accordance with GC21 requirements for an upgrade to part of the Princes Highway with contractor Ward Civil. The workshop was constructive and achieved the objectives of bringing the two parties together to agree on an effective working relationship prior to project commencement.

Cockatoo Island Stakeholder Engagement
Client: Harbour Trust

Led an extensive program of engagement which included stakeholder workshops, pop-up and online engagement and creative static feedback tools. Feedback was received from a broad range of stakeholders across Sydney which informed a detailed outcomes report. 

Snowy Valleys Community Strategic Plan
Client: Snowy Valleys Council

Project managed an extensive program of online and face to face engagement to develop a Community Strategic Plan for the newly amalgamated Council. Engagement focused on understanding the unique aspirations of the many geographically isolated and unique communities across the Snowy Valleys region.

Armidale Community Strategic Plan
Client: Armidale Regional Council

Project managed the development of a long-term Community Strategic Plan for the newly amalgamated Council based on extensive engagement with communities across the region.  

Road Network Plan Stakeholder Workshop
Client: Stantec for Roads and Maritime Services & Transport for NSW

Project managed the development of a long-term Community Strategic Plan for the newly amalgamated Council based on extensive engagement with communities across the region.  

Plans of Management – Port Stephens Holiday Parks
Client: APP for Port Stephens Council

Planned and facilitated a series of information sessions on the Draft Shoal Bay and Halifax Holiday Parks Plans of Management. This project involved working closely with APP and Council to understand key issues, distil complex information and reassure stakeholders through facilitated discussion. 

Carrington Aged Care Facility Redevelopment
Client: Carrington Aged Care

Organised and facilitated a community workshop for local residents and stakeholders about the proposed redevelopment. The project involved navigating competing interests and views and bringing stakeholders together to have a meaningful discussion about the project and potential impacts.

Love Crepe Improvements and DA Submission
Client: FALEOFA

This project involved preparing and implementing an engagement strategy to support a DA submission relating to a heritage building and retail business. The project was sensitive due to heritage constraints but had strong public support which needed to be captured to support the submission to Council. 

School Infrastructure NSW Projects
Client: School Infrastructure NSW

Provided stakeholder engagement support on numerous school upgrades, including State Significant Development Applications (SSDA). Engagement activities included developing and implementing Community Engagement Plans, delivering community information sessions, preparing project updates and information packs, supporting principals and staff and resolving issues for neighbours and nearby residents.  

Schools included Picton HS, Darlington PS, Hurlstone Agricultural HS, Manly Vale PS, Curl Curl PS, Rydalmere Education Precinct, Marsden Park PS, Kent Road PS and West Ryde PS.

Community Engagement Summit Series
Co-chair

Planned and delivered eight community and stakeholder engagement-focused conferences across Australia. Presented and facilitated at each of these events and trained other community engagement professionals on emerging trends in engagement.
